Rigola Cool School – English theatre experience for primary school
The students of the primary school experienced an interesting activity: English theatre on 14th of April.
There was just an actor, who played all the characters and involved the children in the show.
We asked the children if they could understand everything he said and they answered “Yes!”, they even learnt some new words like “forest” or “left and right”, that, for children of their age, it’s a good thing.
For a better experience the actor made the students dress like the characters of the story and they could also interact with each other.
The stories were many, one for each class: in the fifth year the story was about a sheriff and a criminal named Joe, the show was called “Evil Joe”. The third and the fourth year saw “Bear hunt”.
The second class “Little Red Riding Hood” and lots of them were the Evil Wolf; finally, the first class danced with “Happy birthday Steve”.
These shows were a great opportunity to learn some English and speak it, but it was also a funny and educative experience.
Everyone said that they want to do it again because the event was really fun for the children and the teachers, too!
