Spring Festival 2025: Creativity, Play, and Connections

The Spring Festival has become an eagerly awaited event for the entire school community: a special occasion to celebrate renewal and the beauty of being together, in an atmosphere of joy, participation, and sharing. Once again this year, the event perfectly combined the school’s educational soul with the desire to involve families, children, young people, and the local area in an unforgettable day.

A Journey Through the Stands: Learning, Creating, Connecting

The beating heart of the festival was the interdisciplinary stands, spread throughout the school premises and organized by the various teaching commissions. Each area offered a themed workshop designed to stimulate both mind and hands, actively involving children and adults in the creation of small artifacts, which then became part of a collective work of art that will remain on display until the end of the school year.

From science to artistic expression, from technology to language, each stand told a small piece of the world and the school:

  • In the Science Area, children planted seeds, building a large daisy made of colorful flowering pots, a symbol of life and growth.
  • The Expressive Area transformed nature into art, with paintings and mandalas created using leaves, flowers, and colors.
  • In “On the Wings of Recycling”, a workshop in the Technology Area, the ecological message soared high thanks to butterflies created from recycled materials.
  • The Humanities Area gave voice to myths, metamorphosis, and change, in a journey that combined classic stories with personal reflections on what it means to be reborn.
  • The Linguistic Area, with the evocative “Secret Garden – sensory path”, guided participants through a sensory experience inspired by literature, featuring grounds to explore barefoot, emotional booklets, and spring bookmarks.
  • There were also stands dedicated to civic education, historical memory, and the promotion of volunteering, with the participation of local organizations such as AIDO and Seregn de la Memoria.

Every child was able to take home a tangible souvenir of the day and contribute to an extraordinary collective installation titled (provisionally, but evocatively): “The Pulse of the Network: Colors, Nature, and Connections”.

“Spring Cup” Football Tournament: Sport and Team Spirit

Among the most anticipated moments of the day, the “Spring Cup” football tournament sparked enthusiasm in both adults and children. Eight teams of fathers, friends, and—new this year—a special team made up of eighth-grade students, supported by two teachers, competed on the field, ready to represent the school with pride. A special team indeed, the “Cinque in pagella” (Five on the Report Card)—this was the name the boys chose for their super team, which actually won the tournament, to the joy and pride of everyone present!

Colorful jerseys, imaginative names, enthusiastic cheering from families, and a healthy competitive spirit made this sporting moment a true success.

At the end of the matches, there were small prizes, applause, and—naturally—a rich communal buffet prepared with the help of families, school canteen staff, and local partners.

Thank You to Everyone!

Special thanks go to those who made this festival possible: children and young people, teachers, families, staff, associations, and everyone who enthusiastically wove their time and commitment into this spring network.

We take home smiles, colors, and emotions. And one certainty: together we can truly make our dreams fly.
