Latin lab

Latin plays an important role in personal culture. The Latin lab has been conceived for secondary school students to acquire culture, as culture is an essential tool to become independent and communicate with the others, take steps in the society and, later, enter the world of work.

Why is Latin important in our education?

• Our language derives from Latin and it’s therefore important to know its origins and understand its evolutions in order to become aware of the roots of the Italian language
• Learning Latin is a chance to linger on the rules of the Italian language: we help the student reflect on the mechanisms of language and its use
• Studying Latin is the way to get into the thick of the culture of the Ancient Romans to study, deepen and appreciate it.
