The instrumental lab at the secondary school <\/strong>has the goal to make children familiarise with guitar<\/strong> and clavier<\/strong>, dealing with a catalogue embracing both classical and pop\/rock.<\/p>\n

This lab is an excellent didactic tool to develop and train the three areas (motor, emotional, cognitive) and the relevant skills.<\/p>\n

Research has proved how from a cognitive point of view playing an instrument increases the ability to memorise, improves organisational skills, teaches perseverance and it’s also useful for hand-eye coordination in the field of motricity.<\/p>\n

Reading the notes trains the brain to convert pictures into specific motor schemes, thus cooperating to develop the brain cortex.<\/p>\n

Looking at the score and the typical partition of music improve mathematical abilities and require steady efforts of comprehension and concentration.<\/p>\n

Learning to play an instrument furthermore increases a sense of responsibility, teaches commitment and discipline and the results give satisfaction and reward, promoting self-expression, listening to the emotional area and improving self-esteem.<\/p>\n

Every piece is contextualised in its historical period as a reflection of the environment and time at the time of its creation, stimulating critical, argumentative thought and favouring the knowledge and appreciation of other cultures.<\/p>\n
