They live significant experiences thanks to their curiosity and potentials, developing the cognitive, emotional, affective, relational, social dimensions. They learn to learn, in a path rich in experiences and emotions lasting 5 years.<\/p>\n

At the Primary school the child learns to establish relationships with the others, be they peers or adults. They start to identify themselves as part of a group, which is the class, and understands that there are rules which are needed to grow in autonomy and full awareness of oneself and the world around them.<\/p>\n

PROJECTS AT THE PRIMARY AND DIDACTIC ACTIVITIES<\/h2>\n

The didactic activities for the primary school<\/strong> are thought to take the child through a pathway of growth and education which makes them learn and train from a didactic and experiential point of view.<\/p>\n

Children’s orientation activity starts from the very beginning of their journey at the primary school: our school commits itself to help children elaborate a personal project of growth which allows them to value their aptitudes.<\/p>\n

The didactic activities<\/strong> play a key role in the development of the child, who learns and grows provoking their own initiative, attention span and opening.<\/p>\n

Rigola emphasizes the importance of learning the English language with a mothertongue teacher<\/strong>, to enable children to open their minds to new linguistic sounds, different cultures, allowing them to improve their communication not only within the school but also in the social context they live in.<\/p>\n

Several labs are also offered as part of the didactic pathway, thus stimulating the pupil’s creativity and letting them face themselves and the others.<\/p>\n

Humanistic labs<\/strong> improve the quality of the relations within the group, favouring listening abilities and mutual enrichment.<\/p>\n

Scientific labs, subsequent to science lessons, offer the chance of activities in class or outdoor, executing simple physics or chemistry experiments and observations at the microscope.<\/p>\n

ORGANISATION OF THE ACTIVITIES AT THE PRIMARY SCHOOL<\/h3>\n

The school manages the didactic and educational orientation project in full autonomy<\/strong> but respecting the ministerial normative.<\/p>\n

Teachers are thoroughly chosen by the School Director and supported to favour the pedagogical continuum.<\/p>\n

The meeting ends with a formal commitment of the parent to enrol the child in the structure.<\/p>\n

Dote Scuola funds are destined to students residing in Lombardy and attending public bodies or schools recognised by the state. The contribution supports families in the free choice to orient their children to a non-public school.<\/p>\n

Every year Regione Lombardia approves the contributions. THE HISTORY<\/h3>\n

Rigola, today a comprehensive institute recognised by the Italian state and composed of a Toddlers’ section, Kindergarten, Primary school and first stage of Secondary school<\/strong>, looks back on a long and fascinating history.<\/p>\n

In 1885 don Carlo San Martino founded in Milan the Pio Istituto pei Figli della Provvidenza, aiming at building a serene and welcoming environment for young people in difficulty.<\/p>\n

THE SETTING<\/h3>\n

The location, whose original body dates back to the 17th<\/sup> century, is surrounded by an exquisite Italian-style garden and disposes of ample external and indoor spaces<\/strong>: courtyards for outdoor play, salons for breaks, dining rooms, a theatre, a gym, reading halls, multimedial classrooms, science, art and language labs and a chapel. In the park we can find the old oratory of Madonna della Neve.<\/strong><\/p>\n
