KINDERGARTEN PROJECT AND DIDACTIC ACTIVITIES<\/h2>\n

The didactic activities<\/strong> thought for the Kindergarten<\/strong> stem from thorough pondering, accurate programming and a special feeling which teachers have when observing and listening to the children’s needs to stimulate them discover and elaborate experiences. Children learn to act, without confining themselves to only react to stimuli from the outside.<\/p>\n

Play<\/strong> is the foundation of the didactic activities and allows children to express their joy, fear and to show their inclinations: teachers, careful observers, will take advantage of these to support children’s growth.<\/p>\n

Culture of the beautiful and creativity<\/strong>, essential for our didactic activities<\/strong>, will be stimulated by atelier activities: material handling and use of colour are a precious chance for enhancing every child’s sense of aesthetics.<\/p>\n

Among the didactic activities and Kindergarten projects it is also important to promote reading<\/strong>, with the objective of promoting children’s ability to recognise and express emotions, thoughts and desires, and to establish relationships with the others. In every section you can find a reading corner, made of shelves with different types of books and a welcoming area with soft cushions and carpets for reading with the teacher.<\/p>\n

The bilingual orientation<\/strong>, introduced at Rigola in 2015, powered up a project for enhancing the English language and it offers the child the chance to open their mind to new linguistic sounds. The child is led to the language through play, colours, pictures, to learn by having fun!<\/p>\n

In order to grant educational and didactic continuum between school grades the Institute promotes curricular vertically orientation aiming at the gradual and harmonic development of knowledge, competences and skills. We offer learning environments which are places for experience<\/strong> and practical knowledge<\/strong>: vertical curricula<\/strong>, labs for the Kindergarten<\/strong>, interdisciplinary and continuity projects<\/strong>, opening<\/strong> and interaction with the territory and the institutions, orientation<\/strong> meant as a ‘compass’ to accompany children, kids and families throughout all stages of growth.<\/p>\n

ORGANISATION OF THE ACTIVITIES AT THE KINDERGARTEN<\/h3>\n

The activities<\/strong> are carried out from Monday to Friday and follow the calendar according to the adjustments yearly introduced by Regione Lombardia, and with the variations agreed upon with School Board consultations. Activities end on June 30th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The school manages the didactic and educational orientation project in full autonomy<\/strong> but respecting the ministerial normative.<\/p>\n

Teachers are thoroughly chosen by the School Director and supported to favour the pedagogical continuum.<\/p>\n

Dote Scuola funds are destined to students residing in Lombardy and attending public bodies or schools recognised by the state. The contribution supports families in the free choice to orient their children to a non-public school.<\/p>\n

Every year Regione Lombardia approves the contributions. Detailed information are to be found on www.regionelombardia.it.<\/p>\n

Rigola, today a comprehensive institute recognised by the Italian state and composed of a Toddlers’ section, Kindergarten, Primary school and first stage of Secondary school<\/strong>, looks back on a long and fascinating history.<\/p>\n

The location, whose original body dates back to the 17th<\/sup> century, is surrounded by an exquisite Italian-style garden and disposes of ample external and indoor spaces<\/strong>: courtyards for outdoor play, salons for breaks, dining rooms, a theatre, a gym, reading halls, multimedial classrooms, science, art and language labs and a chapel.
